Date Night

One of our favorite places to eat is Pappadeaux. Unfortunately, we don't live anywhere near one. We have to drive at least 30 minutes to reach one. Last night, though, on our way back from a wedding that Matt officiated, we snatched up some onion rings, Shrimp Brochette and Blackened Yellow Fin Tuna. It was good to get away just the two of us. Here's the picture from last night...Matt took it with his phone...

Lauren,
You guys look great! I stumbled upon your blog from another friends and love it. You are such an insightful mom and wife. I don't think we've seen you since we moved from Dallas. Love being caught up on what's going on with your life. Your family is simply precious. I'll be checking in often! Love love, Megan Kemp....patrickandmegan.blogspot.com

When our daughter and future son-in-love speak to us about their future plans we asked them what they would take from our marriage and incorporate in theirs they said our date night which we have had every friday night without fail (unless there is a leaders meeting:( which is only every now and then) so I was blessed to read that you have a date night it keeps the romance alive!!!

love always me
