...for my blog. LOVE my old header (a sweet friend made it for me and it is fabulous) but wanted a change for a bit. I'll probably whip out the old one when spring gets here. Thought this family pic looked more fall-ish. And I am grasping for fall right now. Though, I will say, this 89/90-degree weather is a welcome respite!
More autumn inspiration...
(the pictures are not mine...just found them online!)
Ahh...school books, new clothes, freshly sharpened pencils.
Fiery leaves! I only wish DFW looked like this!
Pumpkins! (Obviously.)
Thanksgiving...which brings me to...
...being thankful in whatever season I find myself in. Meteorologically speaking or spiritually speaking. Though we're in the "dog days of summer" physically, spiritually I feel as though Spring is peeking her sunny head out from behind Winter's drapes. I'm so glad she's come to join me.
All of my life,
In every season,
You are still God
And I have a reason to sing.

Love the new look! You are so precious:) I must agree, Fall is calling my name:) We need to meet up at the Pumpkin Patch this year. Can't wait to hug your neck again soon!
Fall is my favorite time of year. Except for when Christmas rolls around. Oh Yes, And except for the fun days on the beach.
Hmm.
Amen to the need for Fall to come on in...today we went to the playground because of the "cooler" weather. (I live in Frisco) Isn't that sad that at 95 degrees we throw open the doors and go outside. Great pictures!
yes, fall, come! i drove by marcus today and the band was out rehearsing in the parking lot and it made me so excited for fall and all that comes with it! cool weather, football season, and pumpkin spice lattes! :)
I like the new blog look!! I have always thought that is a great picture of your family! Fall will be a nice break from this heat for sure!!
loved standing by you last night!! even thought I'm dead today. I'm too old for late night concerts.
LOVE the new header for your blog...it shows not only the calendar season but you and your family's seasonal growth (those kids are growin' fast, aren't they?) And, as usual, you and Matt look GREAT!
Hey Lauren! I stumbled across your blog while reading the Martin's and thought I'd say hello! I love your fall pictures! Certainly one of the most beautiful times of year and you've made me want to go get my fall decor out of the garage! Hope you and your family are doing well. The kids are growing so fast and are so cute! I added you to my blog which I don't expect to update too often but at any rate...here it is:
